We refer plumbers. We aren't one.
Water where it shouldn't be? Call, and a person in Calgary picks up.
Tell us what's happening. We'll find you a local licensed plumber and tell you honestly how soon they can get there.

These are the problems we get a plumber out for most often. If yours isn't here, call anyway.
Burst pipes and emergencies
A pipe has let go and water is running. If you can find your main shut-off, turn it. It's usually in the basement where the water line enters, near the meter. Then call.
Drain and sewer backups
Water coming up instead of going down. Floor drains, toilets, basement backups. If it's sewage backing up, call 311 first — they'll work out whether it's your line or the City's.
Water heaters
No hot water, a tank that's leaking, or a heater making a noise it didn't make last week.
Leaks
Under the sink, behind a wall, through the ceiling. Slow drip or steady stream.
How the call goes
-
You tell us what's happening.
Thirty seconds is enough. Where the water is, how long it's been going, whether you've found the shut-off, and a number to ring you back on.
-
We find you a plumber and tell you honestly how soon.
We try to reach a nearby licensed plumber while you're on the line. One plumber, not five. No list to sort through, no string of callbacks. You decide whether to go ahead.
-
The plumber quotes you directly before any work starts.
Ask about the call-out fee and the work estimate before agreeing. Copperline doesn't set prices or charge you for the referral. The plumber pays us a referral fee.
Who's on the other end of the line
Copperline is two people in Calgary. We started this year. We don't have reviews yet, and we're not going to invent any.
During phone hours, you get one of us. We'll ask where the water is and whether you've found the shut-off, then try to reach a plumber while you're still on the phone. If we can't get one straight away, we'll offer to ring you back — your choice.
What we do have is a short list of local licensed plumbers we've talked to ourselves. You get one of us, and we get you one of them.
Questions you might have
Who am I actually calling?
Copperline, a referral service run by two people in Calgary. Not a plumbing company.
How do you make money?
The plumbing contractor pays us. You never pay us anything.
How fast can someone get here?
Depends who's free. We find whoever can get there soonest and tell you honestly how soon that is.
